    Customer Relations Manager
    J.S. Hovnanian & Sons, a 57-year-old real estate developer, is searching for a motivated and experienced Customer Service/Relation Manager to lead our customer relations department. Your goal will be to provide outstanding customer service to our homeowners by developing effective customer service procedures, setting customer satisfaction goals and effectively communicating with our internal staff, homeowners and vendors.
    To qualify for the role, the ideal candidate will have proven experience working in a customer service position, with excellent knowledge of the latest industry trends and techniques. In addition to being an excellent communicator (written and verbal), you will also demonstrate strong managerial and interpersonal skills.
    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise day-to-day operations of the customer service department.
    • Respond and resolve customer service issues in a timely manner.
    • Create effective customer service procedures, policies, and standards.
    • Maintain accurate records and document all customer service activities and discussions.
    • Assess service statistics and performance.
    • Hire and train new customer service representatives.
    • Create and manage an approved budget of the customer relations department.
    • Stay informed on the latest industry techniques and methods.
    Requirements:
    • A minimum of 5 years of proven management experience in a customer service position. Construction industry experience is preferred but not required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
    • Good understanding of management practices and techniques.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
