    Have you performed any community service or charitable efforts within the last year?
    BCA has a long history of giving back to their community. Both the BCA employees and owners decide together which non-profits to support. Each quarter, they nominate an organization that is doing good things in their community or simply holds a special place in their hearts. A few organizations they support include:
    •             Food Bank of SJ
    •             Gilda’s Club
    •             Humane Society
    Each year during the holiday season, BCA participates in the Salvation Army’s “Adopt A Family” program, where they take on a family-in-need’s Holiday Wish List, from winter coats and boots, to games and toys.
     
    What do you see are the most important issues in the building industry today?
    Contractual Liability. What are you signing and does your current insurance policy support the insurance terms and conditions required within your contract? Many will sign, few will actually know! We can help.

    Like many businesses, relationships are critical. The insurance market is tightening, and we expect to see significant premium increases across the industry. During this time, it is critical that a broker understands their client’s industry and more importantly- the ability to “tell the story” to the underwriters. The relationships we have with our underwriters will be a critical component in the renewal process for our clients securing the best terms and conditions available in the ever-tightening market.
     We help contractors mitigate their risk in ways beyond the insurance policy and the techniques we use can be an invaluable to contractors of all size or scope.
