• Mark MaGrann honored awarded with Lifetime Achievement Award

    Mark MaGrann, MaGrann Associates was honored as this year's recipient of the Joseph S. VanOsten Lifetime Achievement Award.

    The award is presented to either a builder or associate member, who has been a member of the League for at least 10 years and demonstrated exceptional service to the building industry during that time.

    The award, which is named after the League's former executive vice president, was presented to MaGrann at the MAME Awards ceremony held at Lucien's Manor in Berlin on November 15, 2017. 

    MaGrann has been actively involved in all three levels of the builder federation for over 20 years. 
    MaGrann has been a member of the League since 1982.  He holds a unique place in BLSJ’s membership since he has an associate membership under MaGrann Associates plus a builder membership under MaGrann Construction. 
    MaGrann has a long history of taking leadership roles in the association.  He served as the Associates Committee chairman in 1983, and the Programs Chairman in 1986.   In 2007 he suggested the League form a Green Building Committee and he served as its chairman.  
    MaGrann also served as the project manager in 2006 for the  South Jersey Builders for Affordable Housing Inc., a subsidiary of the Builders League, which built 8 affordable apartments for MEND, Moorestown Ecumenical Neighborhood Development.  That project, helped fund the BLSJ Charitable Foundation and its numerous contributions to housing groups and food banks in South Jersey.
    His achievements at BLSJ also include serving on the board of directors from 2004- 2008.
    MaGrann was honored as Builder of the Year in 2003 under MaGrann Construction and inducted into the BLSJ Hall of Fame in 2008.
