Builders League Scholarship Foundation awards $11,500 in 2020
BLSJ Scholarship Foundation President Robert Washburn announced scholarship awards totaling $11,500 will be presented to five students from southern New Jersey who will be matriculating in an accredited, post-secondary school and pursuing a course of study related to real estate and the construction industry.
This year's recipients include Katherine Kaderabek of Mickleton, who is majoring in Architecture at The Catholic University of America; Matthew Vona of Mullica Hill, who is majoring in Real Estate Development at New York University; Thomas Oves of Ocean City who plans to major in Civil Engineering at the University of Delaware; Charles Starr III of Franklinville who will study Plumbing Technology at the Gloucester County Institute of Technology and Logan Sands of Linwood, who plans to major in Engineering Technologies HVAC at the Pennsylvania College of Technology. Mr. Sands is the recipient of a scholarship award provided by the New Jersey Builders Association.
Since 1995, the Foundation has awarded more than $175,000 to area students planning for careers within the homebuilding industry.
